Tree Point Light
Lighthouse · Ketchikan Gateway County, Alaska

Tree Point Light is a lighthouse in Ketchikan Gateway County, Alaska. Alaska has 20 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow, 3 of them in Ketchikan Gateway County.
It was built in 1935, in the interwar years, making it the 8th oldest of the 11 in Alaska with a recorded construction date; the light characteristic is recorded as Fl W 6s.<br> obscuR from 158° to 318° (a white flash every 6 seconds); the recorded designer or builder is United States Lighthouse Service.
Status check, 2026-11: The current Art Deco reinforced-concrete tower (1933–35) replaced the original wooden lighthouse, which was first lit in 1904, so the record's 1905 date is wrong for today's structure. The height is left null because sources disagree: 58 ft in Lighthouse Digest and Living New Deal, 66 ft in the Lighthouse Directory. Tree Point Light is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It stands at 54.8028° N, 130.9340° W.
