Egmont Key Light is a lighthouse in Hillsborough County, Florida. Florida has 49 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow.

It was built in 1858, in the Civil War era, making it the 9th oldest of the 30 in Florida with a recorded construction date; its light sits 85 feet above the water; the light characteristic is recorded as Fl W 15s (a white flash every 15 seconds), with a range of about 24 nautical miles.

Status check, 2026-11: The current tower dates from 1858 and replaced the storm-damaged 1848 tower, so the record's 1848 is wrong. Its lantern was removed in 1944, and the height is null because sources give 87 ft (including the old lantern), 81 ft to the light, or 76 ft today. It stands at 27.6008° N, 82.7608° W.
