Michigan City Breakwater Light is a lighthouse in LaPorte County, Indiana. Indiana has 4 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow, 3 of them in LaPorte County.

It was built in 1911, in the early 20th century; its light sits 39 feet above the water; the light characteristic is recorded as Fl R 4s (a red flash every 4 seconds), with a range of about 5 nautical miles; it guards Lake Michigan.

Status check, 2026-11: A storm destroyed the first breakwater light in February 1909, and the current concrete pyramidal tower replaced it in 1911. It was added to the National Register in 2017. I only found the 32 ft height in one source, so I left it null. Michigan City Breakwater Light is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It stands at 41.7300° N, 86.9139° W.
