Pacific Reef Light
Lighthouse · Florida
Pacific Reef Light is a lighthouse in Florida. Florida has 49 lighthouses on record at Wayfarrow.
Its light sits 44 feet above the water; the light characteristic is recorded as Fl W 4s (a white flash every 4 seconds).
Status check, 2026-11: This is an active skeletal reef light on a screwpile foundation in Biscayne National Park, and its original lantern room is now displayed in Founders Park, Islamorada. Sources disagree on the date: the USCG and USLHS say the 1921 tower is still there, but the Lighthouse Directory lists a replacement tower from 2000. They also give slightly different heights (44 ft vs. 45 ft). It stands at 25.3708° N, 80.1417° W.
